The FORCE knob controls the level of output volume; The DJENT knob controls the amount of distortion; The SABER knob shapes the mid range eq characteristics from old time mid-scooped thrashing to modern roaring prog djenting. There are three modes that can be selected using the switch on the body. AGGRESSIVE mode (up position) comes with enhanced low end and presence; Neutral mode (middle position) gives you a flatter sound with more balanced EQ shaping; SMOOTH mode (down position) provides you with a smoother and warmer tone. In all 3 modes, the tone comes with great articulation. Even with the maximum of gain, you can still identify the details of each string on your guitar. This is a boutique style guitar pedal with a very small footprint allowing it to fit into even the most crammed pedal board. Due to this there is no battery compartment and the Hotone DJENT Skyline Hi-Gain Metal Distortion Guitar Pedal must be powered by a 9v dc guitar pedal power supply unit to make it work.
